An Introduction to Notes from a Feminist

This blog is going to explore current events in the United States and how those events impact women in this country. Many of the posts found on this blog will be written from a feminist perspective where women are equal to men socially, economically, and politically. It is important to state that this blog believes in gender equality. There is not a dominant gender but women have a long history of being treated differently than men. Here I will explore a variety of topics as they relate to women’s rights. Posts will be written by myself or will be shared from other blogs and news sources. My goal is to share truthful and honest information about reproductive rights, sex education, sexual health, and portrayal of women in the media. I hope to inspire others to explore more deeply how these topics affect our daily lives.
